Policy Statement:
NATURALS CARE is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in all aspects of its operations. This policy establishes guidelines and procedures to prevent and prohibit bribery and corruption within the organization and its interactions with external parties.
Purpose:
The purpose of this policy is to:
a) Prevent and detect bribery and corruption in all activities of NATURALS CARE.
b) Establish mechanisms to address concerns related to bribery or corruption.
c) Promote a culture of integrity, fairness, and accountability.
Definitions:
a) Bribery: Offering, promising, giving, accepting, or soliciting an undue advantage, whether directly or indirectly, to influence the actions of an individual in a position of trust.
b) Corruption: Abuse of entrusted power for personal gain or advantage.
Policy Guidelines:
a) Compliance with Laws: NATURALS CARE and its employees will comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to anti-bribery and anti-corruption.
b) Prohibition of Bribery and Corruption: All forms of bribery, corruption, facilitation payments, and extortion are strictly prohibited.
c) Gifts and Hospitality: Gifts, hospitality, or other benefits shall not be offered or accepted if they could compromise the integrity or impartiality of decision-making.
d) Due Diligence: The organization will conduct due diligence on third parties, including suppliers, contractors, and partners, to ensure they adhere to similar standards of anti-bribery and anti-corruption.
e) Reporting and Whistleblowing: NATURALS CARE encourages all employees, stakeholders, and third parties to report any suspected or actual instances of bribery or corruption through confidential reporting channels. Whistleblowers will be protected from retaliation.
f) Internal Controls: Effective internal controls will be implemented to prevent, detect, and address bribery and corruption risks.
g) Training and Awareness: Regular training and awareness programs will be conducted to educate employees and stakeholders on the importance of anti-bribery and anti-corruption practices.
h) Cooperation with Authorities: NATURALS CARE will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies and relevant authorities in investigating and prosecuting cases of bribery or corruption.
Responsibilities:
a) Management: The management of NATURALS CARE is responsible for ensuring compliance with this policy and providing adequate resources for its implementation.
b) Employees: All employees have a responsibility to familiarize themselves with and adhere to this policy. They should report any suspected or actual instances of bribery or corruption promptly.
c) Whistleblowing Committee: A designated committee will be responsible for receiving, investigating, and addressing reports of bribery or corruption.
Consequences of Non-Compliance:
Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment or contractual relationships. Appropriate legal action may also be taken if necessary.
Review:
This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure its effectiveness, relevance, and alignment with applicable laws and best practices.
